Mrs. Suraiya Quadir
Mrs. Suraiya Quadir was born in a respectable family. She is the daughter of Abdur Rahman, who was one of the richest industrialists of the country. Her husband Major General (Retd.) Md Abdul Quadir is also the vice-chairman of the company.
Major General (Retd.) Md Abdul Quadir
Major General(Retd.) Md Abdul Quadir was born in May,1960 in Mymensingh district. He was commissioned in the Corps of Engineers in Bangladesh Army in the year of 1981. He is a Civil Engineering graduate from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Also, he has achieved Post Graduate Diploma on “Development Planning” from Academy for Planning and Development (APD) under Ministry of Planning, Bangladesh.
Major General Md Abdul Quadir served in different commands in the Bangladesh Army. Starting from Garrison Engineer to Engineer in chief, he has served in every engineering commands of the Bangladesh Army. Notably, he commanded five battalions, and he was the Engineering Advisor at Ministry of Defence and Chief Engineer in Dhaka City Corporation. In his military career, he was the Commandant of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) and Bangladesh Ordnance Factories.
Major General Md Abdul Quadir attended many seminars and travelled in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and America continents. He has written two books on Engineering named ‘Shundor Barir Shohoj Prokousol’and ‘Shundor Barir Shohoj Prokousol II’.
After retiring from Bangladesh Army in 2016, he joined PRAN-RFL Group as the Chief Advisor and worked until March 2017. Afterwards, He established Easy Tech Lifts & Escalators Ltd. Currently he is also affiliated with Karim Group.
